Vehicle mounting a RIEGL VZ-600i

This article describes the parts needed to mount a VZ-600i safely on a vehicle.

The RIEGL VZ-600i can be mounted on a vehicle using the following parts:

Shock-absorbing mount:

- large: HW-VZ-XX-06-076-00

- small: HW-VZ-XX-06-077-00

The difference between the two sizes is the height of the legs. The large size has taller legs, giving more space to co-mount an IMU under the scanner.

SPM adapter plate. This is fixed to the scanner before mounting it onto the shock absorbing mount. It is supplied with the shock absorbing mount.

VZ-600i to VZ-400i adapter (HW-VZI-06-014-00). This adapter is required to convert the mounting holes on the VZ-600i to the same spacing as those on the SPM adapter plate.
