How to reset the RiPROCESS interface

If you can't find some of the panels of the RiPROCESS user interface, this article describes how to reset them

Sometimes elements of the RiPROCESS user interface cannot be located - a possible cause of this is they have have been undocked and have moved outside of the Windows desktop.

The RiPROCESS.ini file where the personalized settings of RiPROCESS (toolbars, window size/position etc.) are stored is located under the following file path:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Riegl_LMS\RiPROCESS

Please navigate to the above-mentioned path and to conduct the following:

  • Close RiPROCESS
  • Delete the RiPROCESS.ini file at the above-mentioned path
  • Open RiPROCESS again and verify whether the View inspector will be displayed properly afterwards.
