Error "RiMTA5: High PPS jitter detected!"

Symptomns

An orange warning message is displayed in RiSCAN PRO stating:

Convert scan  xxx (ScanPosxxx) - RiMTA5: High PPS jitter detected! <Sigma: xxxxxxns>

Cause

The warning is triggered by the background data processing module RiMTA under certain scenarios. It is not relevant to the data processing in RiSCAN PRO or RiSOLVE and can be safely ignored.

Solution

No action is needed by the user, and there is no problem with the integrity of the data. In future releases of the software, the warning message will be suppressed.
