Creating a sysdoc

A sysdoc, or system documentation file, is an encrypted file generated by RiACQUIRE that collects properties of the sensor hardware and operations.

To create the SysDoc, the entire system must be accessible for RiACQUIRE.

  • Please start the system as usual and create or open an existing project.
  • Initialize the system and wait until all components are fully initialized.
  • Go to 'Help' ->'System documentation' ->'System documentation' ->'Generate system documentation’.

  • A new window will open. If you wish, you can change the path and the name with the button next to 'File name' Field.

  • After pressing 'Start' it takes about 5-10 minutes to get all data. The file size tends to be upwards of 50MB.
